Carrie Underwood Releases Christmas Album

    The CMA Vocalist of the Year Award Winner 'Carrie Underwood' re-releases her hit album Carnival Ride featuring five brand new Christmas tracks including 'Hark! The Herald Angels Sing', 'The First Noe'l, 'What Child Is This', 'Do You Hear What I Hear' and 'O Holy Night'.

    'Do You Hear What I Hear' has been released as a single. For Carrie, its classical hymns and carols that always put her in the christmas mood. "I'm a very traditional person," she says. "I love traditional Christmas songs... it's what makes me think of Christmas. So I like to keep everything very... you know... just the things that I grew up with, I want other people to hear songs like that and I want them to think of Christmas too. So that's why I picked the songs I picked; because I wanted to get into the Christmas spirit the only way I know how and that's with very traditional Christmas songs."

    Her current album 'Carnival Ride' contains the current smash hit single 'Just A Dream' as well as her #1 co-written hits 'So Small', 'All-American Girl' and 'Last Name'.

    Since her debut in 2005, Underwoods two albums have sold nearly 10 million copies and she is the all time top American Idol selling contestant.
