Growing up on the Queensland coastline, Jodie started her radio career as a Promotions Manager for both Hot fm and 4mk fm in Mackay over seven years ago. Having a huge desire to get paid for what she loves doing most… Talking, playing music and generally acting like a pratt, Jodie took a position way out of her comfort zone in Emerald where she did what she classes as her on-air apprenticeship. One thing she certainly did learn a little more about was country music. Now of course Jodie remembers getting around in the F100 with her dad listening to the likes of Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton but that didn’t quite touch the surface of a genre she has now grown to love extensively!

Jodie’s on air apprenticeship is well and truly over and with a Breakfast Show under her belt in out back Mount Isa, gone also are the days of being out of her comfort zone! I mean… she even thinks Kenny Chesney’s tractor really IS sexy now and doesn’t even mind the farmers tan so for a boot scootin’ good time with a wee bit of a witty wacky woman then you can join Jodie at the Honky Tonk Bar on Saturday evening from 6pm – midnight and again by tuning in to Sunday’s coming down with Jodie from 12 noon – 4pm!
