With great joy, Love Police continue to deliver the goodness with the return of the amazing OLD CROW MEDICINE SHOW back to Australia in March and April 2010.
The band first toured Australia early in 2009 and left audiences in awe of the musical tour de force that is Old Crow Medicine Show which left Brisbane’s Time Off Magazine to say “The band are shit-hot players, there’s no doubting it”. It’s fast & furious so bluegrass and folk lovers, hipsters and country fans, be prepared to get down, again, in a whole new way once these five boys from Nashville take to the stage. The band won the day at the ultra cool Golden Plains festival in Melbourne, the Oz country & roots festival CMC Rocks The Snowys and survived heavy rains in Gippsland at the Mossvale Park festival with dazzling delivery of musicianship, joy, humour and down right good times! Their club dates saw a two set evening on wonder and joy.
The band has gone far beyond the label of "Americana" and kicks out good old bluegrass styled music with attitude. They abandon the overdone country theme of dead dogs and lost women for heart felt get-downs about homegrown weed and trailer dwelling meth heads.
