Brad Cole Moves Into Top 10 - 2010 MUSICOZ Awards
Independent contemporary country singer/songwriter Brad Cole has been selected as one of the Top 10 Australian Independent country acts vying for awards contention at the 2010 MUSICOZ Awards. Around 5000 entries are received each year by MUSICOZ covering 18 genres. This is the 2nd year Brad has been selected as a MUSICOZ Top 10 finalist in the Country Music category.

The last few years have seen Brad Cole building and establishing his name and credibility throughout the Australian country music industry. Brad is attracting a growing number of loyal music fans from a broad market demographic who enjoy his slick brand of modern country music and his vibrant live performances. In 2009 he picked up an Australian Country Music Peoples Choice Award and in Ontario Canada he won Best Independent International Artist as well being selected as a finalist in many other Australian county music and songwriting award events.
As an Independent artist competing in a very competitive industry, Brad is cutting through and achieving significant radio chart success with his last three consecutive singles sitting near the top of the National country radio charts amongst some of Australia's and the world’s most recognised country music artists. Brad’s contribution towards the growth of Australian country music in the 'contemporary vein' includes releasing Australia's first 1080P HD Blu-ray music video which was showcased through selected Harvey Norman stores, four charting music videos on CMC, national single releases to radio and key band performances. Brad has also contributed towards growing Australian country music awareness of outside of Australia performing his original material in Canada and the US. His popularity with radio in Australia can be gauged by the large number of commercial and community stations/networks adding and playing his brand of modern country music and the accompanying radio chart success that his music is achieving.
Recently two of Brad's songs were recognised and published in APRA’s online listing of prominent Australian songs in 2009 for peer voting consideration and a chance for Brad and his works to move into contention for a prestigious 2010 APRA award.
2009 has seen Brad and his band booked at numerous major country music events including headlining to a full house at The Royal Geelong Show. Brad recently performed a successful ticketed concert at The Capitol Theatre - Tamworth involving performances from legendry guitarist Phil Emmanuel and others.
