Sound Relief is set to hit our televisions for one special encore hour of highlights this Sunday September at 1pm nationally on Chanel 9. The one hour highlights package will screen across the country in the lead up to the release of the official Sound Relief 4DVD set which will feature over nine hours of footage from the twin concerts that were staged in Melbourne and Sydney on March 14th 2009. Jimmy Little was born at the Cumeragunga mission near Barmah Victoria in 1937 the home of the Yorta Yorta people. I was in Darwin last week to witness the release of Harmony James latest album Tailwind (Shock) out in stores in August. My favourite song is Fly, a certain hit. "This is a very personal song," Harmony said. "When I was a young girl I imagined being a singer but never quite believed it could happen." Somebody Stole My Horse is another favourite and would make an excellent soundtrack to a western movie. This track became Australia's most played country song in 2008.

Taylor Swift Raps with T-Pain for CMT Awards
T-Swizzy or Taylor Swift as she's occasionally called was the star of the CMT Music Awards in Nashville, winning two trophes, performing with Def Leppard and making her rap debut with a little help from T-Pain. The 'Thug Story' video, a clip worthy of a Saturday Night Live digital short that opened the show saw Taylor poking fun at her good girl image by rhyming "I'm so gangsta you can find me baking cookies at night / You out clubbin' but I just made caramel delight".
